In July 2025 purple colour patches had formed on my skin with some itching. I was recommended by my family physician to visit Dr Avani Bhavsar (Gandhi). End of July, I visited Dr Avani Gandhi who diagnoised ihe disease as Lichen Planus. Lichen Planus usually lasts for 18 to 24 months. However, after 3 months of treatment I was quite relieved of it and the purple patches and itching had almost subsided. I still visit the doctor on monthly basis and am very much happy with her treatment and her friendly advices and receptive nature. She is the best dermatologist in Surat.
