Thank you, Doctor! I have complete confidence in Dr. Apratim Chatterjee ‘s thorough diagnosis, advice and recommendations for my mother. I am also impressed with Smt. Rupa Ghosh’s, the doctor’s secretary, management and communication skills to tackle the doctor visits in IPD and appointments in OPD. She had personally tried to support me during crisis. I am grateful to her. I would highly recommend Dr. Apratim Chatterjee and also his team.
Dr. Chatterjee reviewed my father’s case, provided valuable guidance, and referred him to another highly qualified physician. Both were excellent, and I’m deeply grateful. Earlier, a doctor at the Institute of Neurosciences had suggested a critical head and neck surgery with slim chances of survival. Thankfully, we sought a second opinion, which revealed that surgery wasn’t needed—his symptoms were due to a metabolic disorder, now well managed after a year. My advice: please choose physicians carefully, ask questions, and seek second opinions if you’re unsatisfied. Dr. Chatterjee reviewed every report thoroughly and answered all our questions with great patience, would highly recommend.
I visited Dr. Chatterjee regarding my mother's concerning neurological symptoms — specifically right-sided tingling and burning sensations across her body. Unfortunately, the consultation was deeply disappointing. The doctor seemed rushed and did not take adequate time to listen to the full history of symptoms. When we tried to provide more details about what she was experiencing, we felt dismissed rather than heard. There was very little room for open discussion or questions. The provisional diagnosis of Temporal Arteritis (Giant Cell Arteritis) felt premature, as my mother does not have the classic symptoms associated with this condition — no persistent headache, no eye issues, and no jaw pain. When we sought a second opinion at Apollo Hospitals, the neurologist took a more thorough approach and identified a neuropathic condition that better explains her actual symptoms. We understand that medicine involves clinical judgment and that doctors can have differing opinions. However, what disappointed us most was the communication style — it felt one-sided and dismissive, leaving us confused and anxious rather than informed and reassured. We hope the clinic takes patient feedback seriously and works toward more empathetic and thorough patient consultations in the future
Had a worst experience. Money minded doctor. Also he keeps on changing his statement. Initially whatever you discussed with him you will see after some days it suddenly got changed.
He is not at all experienced. . I took my father 3months ago to him he couldn’t diagnose him nor he suggested or guided any proper treatment and now my father is hospitalised and fighting life and death !!! General physicians are better than him plz don’t go to him!!!!
