Money maker doctor. Trap ! He lies and assures for 100% treatment with positive results and traps the patient. my father lost his life due to complications after his suggested treatment. One after the other the problems increased with his experimental medicines. And he died. Dr Mukesh is a big liar. He said 100 percent recovery after plasmapheresis. He never explained about poor prognosis. After plasmapheresis when condition worsened they ignored. Dr Mukesh visits the patient room for few minutes and never examined him
I consulted Dr Mukesh Kumar for my father who is diagnosed with Parkinson's. Doctor is very compassionate, he diagnosed the issues accurately and guided us well. Very satisfied with the experience.
Dr. Mukesh Kumar is an excellent neurologist at Max Hospital, Saket. He listens to patients very patiently and explains the diagnosis and treatment plan in detail. His calm and confident approach gives great comfort to both patients and their families. Highly recommended for any neurological issues.
Apart from being a phenomenal neurologist, Dr. Mukesh Kumar is an amazing human being, kind, compassionate, and understanding. His brilliance is reflected in his patient and empathetic approach of dealing with patients. Far ahead of conventional methods, he adopts a truly patient-oriented approach in his practice. A highly recommended doctor!
Extremely disturbing experience with Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Senior Director – Neurology, Max Saket (West Wing) I am writing this with immense disappointment and anger after our consultation with Dr. Mukesh Kumar at Max Saket. My father has been diagnosed with early/moderate dementia with visible frontal and temporal lobe shrinkage. We went in with all MRI scans and blood reports, hoping for guidance, clarity, and empathy during what is already an emotionally devastating phase for our family. What we got instead was arrogance, dismissiveness, and outright insensitivity. The entire interaction lasted barely two minutes before Dr. Kumar abruptly declared that my father “needs to be admitted.” When my sister and I were understandably taken aback, he casually added that alternatively my father could “just continue medications at home.” That was it. No explanation. No discussion of disease progression. No diet advice. No lifestyle changes. No cognitive exercises. No caregiver guidance. No reassurance. What was truly shocking were his demeaning remarks: 1. He stated that my father has “become like a 4-year-old” simply because he struggled with a basic arithmetic task. 2. While speaking directly to my sister and me—in front of my father—he remarked, “Look, your father isn’t even engaging in the conversation.” This is not clinical honesty. This is stripping a patient of dignity. For someone with decades of experience and seniority, Dr. Mukesh Kumar displayed zero tact, zero compassion, and zero sensitivity toward both patient and family. Dementia is already cruel enough. A doctor does not get the right to be cruel too. At Max Saket, we did not feel like people seeking help. We felt like targets. Numbers. Files to be moved along. I sincerely pray no other family—already vulnerable and frightened—has to endure this kind of treatment. Expertise without empathy is dangerous. And in this case, it was outright damaging.
