Dr. Usha M. Kumar at Max Sanket took excellent care of my mother during her surgery. Initially, a hysterectomy was planned after scans showed a large fibroid. During the operation, it was found that the fibroid was very large (10 x 12 x 12 cm) and very close to the ureter (the tube that carries urine from the kidney to the bladder), which made the surgery more complicated than expected.
Dr. Usha handled the situation calmly and professionally. To make sure the ureter was safe, she involved the urology team, who performed a cystoscopy and placed a protective DJ stent. She then successfully completed the robotic hysterectomy, removal of both ovaries and tubes, removal of the large fibroid, and carefully freed the ureter to avoid any damage.
We are very grateful for her quick decision-making, skill, and care. She explained everything clearly to our family and gave us confidence throughout the process. Thanks to her expertise, the surgery was completed safely and my mother is recovering well.

Here I am sharing my experience
I had a 9cm x 5cm x 5.4cm ovarian dermoid cyst and had visited many renowned hospitals. Several doctors suggested removing the ovary along with the dermoid through conventional open surgery, which would require more stitches and a longer recovery time.
Then I consulted Dr Usha M Kumar at Max Hospital Saket. She assured me that the dermoid could be removed laparoscopically, without removing ovary, and with faster recovery.
