Dr. Swapnil provided exceptional care for my kidney stone treatment. From the first consultation to the final follow-up, they were thorough, professional, and compassionate. The procedure was smooth, and Dr. made sure I understood every step of the process, answering all my questions patiently. My recovery was faster than expected, and I’m very thankful for the excellent care I received. Highly recommend Dr. for anyone dealing with kidney stones!
Receptionists are fairly rude and are unhelpful/unresponsive in responding to questions on WhatsApp. Doctor/urologist was decently helpful about questions of procedures; but couldn't schedule a video/tele-consultation with him - most places these days offer lower cost consultations over calls (video/audio).
Firstly, doctor was late by 45 mins when I went to visit first. He checked and wrote me a few tests. he was keen on suggesting me surgery without even letting me know the root cause of the issue. I went and got the test done. I visited him again after two days to show the reports. He didn't check me properly and was again keen on suggesting me for surgery. They charged me again in the name of follow up checkup whereas I only went to show him the reports. When I confronted the staff about it they rudely replied that this is how it is at our clinic you have to pay. The doctor hardly spent a min on me. They are clearly there just to earn. Also the clinic was too congested, not enough place to sit, too many mosquitos. Would not recommend.
I will never recommend this doctor. We met this doctor for my father's kidney stone treatment. But I have never seen such a pathetic and untrained doctor in my life. We admitted my father to Surana Hospital for kidney stone removal. Before the operation he had two stones of 27 mm and 14 mm. He had his first surgery (laser treatment) and we were told that one stone had been removed and another would be removed a week later. Why the two surgeries we wondered? Still there was no choice but to follow his instructions. After 10 days the father was readmitted and a 2nd surgery was performed which was said to be successful and after another 10 days of observation the stent would be removed. A few days later my father suddenly started complaining of fever and low blood pressure. 8 days later we did a second assessment and found out that there was internal bleeding and a blood clot in the kidney. So he again performed pigtail surgery on the back of the body to remove the blood clot. After waiting for 2-3 days and drawing 150 ml of blood he was discharged. Thus we were expecting everything to be normal after about 30 days. At that time, new shocking information came out in this case. We consulted another doctor from another reputed hospital to ensure complete stone removal and sonography done at a private lab revealed two stones of 8mm and 7mm still in the kidney. The incident of kidney blood clot happened due to his surgical injury due negligence by doctor. Mislead by saying your father's previous medication for heart disease caused more bleeding. Despite two operations, the kidney stone could not be removed. I think this doctor is not trained and is doing trials and errors with patients. I request all the viewers and those suffering from such urological treatment under his guidance to be careful and find a better doctor than him. I will definitely file a complaint against him with the medical association for his laxity in his work and withholding such critical information from the patient and his family. Please beware of him.
