I often hear the phrase- Doctors are symbolic of God. I didn’t know, the phrase was written by someone in advance as a note of gratitude for the provided services by Dr Vaibhav Joshi. One of my close friends has been suffering severely from numerous mental health issues for the last decade. He consulted almost ten psychiatrists and uncountable psychologists to address his mental health. But all his efforts were going into the veins. He has been living in despair. Ultimately he went into the helling acute depression. Being a close and trusted family member, I have been accompanying and witnessing his dreadful journey. We have been losing our confidence. Our every effort resulted in nothing with more add-on negativity. He had lost all his hopes and committed to ending his helling life. He attempted suicide many times but couldn’t succeed because of the timely interventions of family members. Then, one day, our distant relative advised us to consult with Dr Vaibhav Joshi. We thought of some positivity and headed to the Doctor. At the scheduled booking slot, we entered into his calm and serene consulting room. He listened to us sympathetically, and attentively, which is out of sight nowadays. Even, He didn’t intervene in the free-flowing misery storytelling of my relative’s life. He consulted for almost 45 minutes! During the course, he asked many questions to analyse the disease correctly. He responded (did not react) to our queries politely with full authentication. Such gestures are out of thought in the present self-centred world. He assured us of his well-being and started his prescriptions. The prescription surprised us as only two medications were visible. On the question, he told me that the remedy for my relatives came with counselling, the medication is only supportive. We counselled continuously as scheduled by the doctor. Now the positive outcomes were visible and growing with each counselling. After six months, the results were miraculous. I witnessed, my relative gratitude to the doctor come in bursting tears. He could not express his positive feelings and continuously bowed to the doctor’s feet. Why not? He saved the life. Doctor you are not only a doctor, you are an angel to your patients. You have been Inspiring them by saying, Believe in yourself, and don’t rely on medication, the remedies lie in belief. Doctor, you are the living God for your distressed patients and their family members. I request the readers to rely on my words and approach the doctor for any mental health issues of themselves and their loved ones.
